Bwindi Trails
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park protects a rugged landscape of steep hills and valleys which roll eastward from the Albertine Rift escarpment. The tangled forested slopes provide shelter to very diverse mammalian species like the mountain gorilla, L'Hoest's monkey and surprisingly some chimpanzees, on top of a variety of bird species. Hiking through its abandoned logging trails is the stuff of dreams.
